We are 5 members of Collective Wellness, and our story is one of pursuing a practice of living sustainably within our group.
We are trying to live a workable model focusing on the governance of communal structures and how the requirements tend to differ from space to space and community to community.
The function of our collective is to systematically build these observations into workable models that can be introduced into other communities, where the tools and practices can be applied toward achieving the goal of living sustainably and independently.
We also believe through inter-action with communities we can establish their needs and assist with demonstrating a level of control over these needs. Our intention is to model the approach around what is required, but keeping to the tools and application being natural or close to nature.
In our approach we will always try to find the most natural way in moving forward, and with the incorporation of this approach together we can apply a level of wholesomeness and extraction from the matrix.
Individualistically and within the communal structure, we feel that by bringing attention to developing yourself first and embedding yourself in nature, you can leave a smaller footprint. The intention should be to have as little impact on nature as possible, and thereby in focusing on having a smaller ecological footprint it reduces a persons compulsive behaviours.
Living close to nature brings a level of healing to ourselves and a connection to the earth that has been lost as we move forward in today’s society, and by beginning to understand nature it encourages a level of willingness to learn and engage with our part in this beautiful holistic system.
Humans impact the environment in many ways and this has triggered climate change. Start with 3 basic changes.
Did you know approximately a third of the world’s food is wasted and is responsible for roughly 8 percent of global emissions.
Making the change to a plant-based diet may be the most effective way we can stop climate change.
Due to advances in solar technology, it is now more affordable to move to solar and choose where your electricity comes from.
Our sister company has been providing greener server hosting for over 10 years. We teamed up with one of the best providers offering a 130% carbon footprint offset through purchasing Renewable Energy Credits (RECs)
We can make a difference by extending the life of our hardware and sustainably reuse technology and reduce the 57.4 million tons of e-waste generated worldwide.
